"I don't think Bel Biv DeVoe will be visiting me in yeshiva, " says Ronny Vance, former president of Geffen and Interscope, the largest record companies in the United States. The man who signed 2Pac, New Edition, Gwen Stefani of No Doubt and countless other hits acts is now happy to spend his days learning in a Jerusalem yeshiva and helping Jewish-Israeli artists such as his former Shabbat guest Yonatan Razel, a young man he met on Birthright named DK Benjamin, and Israel's "next Johnny Carson, " Isaac Shiraz, who was recently featured on MTV.
